Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL and Bio Investment Asia 2019

Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2019, the 9th international trade exhibition and conference on Analytical Laboratory Equipment & Technology, Biotechnology & Life Sciences and Chemicals & Safety, will be held during September 25th – 27th, 2019, at BITEC HALL 102-103, BITEC, Bangkok.

This year, the organizer, VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co. Ltd., in cooperation with Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), will drive the latest exhibition to promote trading and investment in life sciences and biotechnology through BIO Investment Asia 2019 at Hall 104 BITEC, which will be held during the same time. The organizers are confident that these exhibitions will be able to boost the growth of business and to facilitate the expansion of trading and investment in scientific equipment industry for the last quarter of the year. During the exhibition, more than 255 leading companies from over 30 countries around the world will showcase more than 550 brands of products. There will also be international pavilions from China, India, South Korea and Italy, as well as the special pavilions, LAB Service and Startup, in the exhibition area of approximately 12,000 square meters.

Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2019 will create and promote the new business path for the laboratory researches to be on par with the international standard through the trade exhibitions and seminars. This event will also stimulate investment in the use of high technology for industrial development to enable Thai products and services to compete in the global market. In addition, Bio Investment Asia 2019 will also promote and drive towards the growth of biotechnology and life science industries, together with modern medical innovation of the country, in order to cope with the growth of these industries overseas. It is expected that this event will involve over 10,000 entrepreneurs, manufacturers, experts and investors from various industries throughout 3 days of exhibition, resulting in the trading value of over 500 million Baht.

As for the official opening ceremony, it is an honor to have co-organizing partners from public and private sectors, as well as mass media, leading enterprises and honorable guests from all industries. The opening ceremony will be presided over by Dr. Pathom Sawanpanyalert, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. Other guests of honor will include Mr.Puripan Bunnag, Director of TCEB’s President Office Department, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Dr. Sirasak Teparkum, Deputy CEO, Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (Public Organization) or TCELS, Mr.Suwan Pongsunk, President of the Science and Technology Trade Association and Mr. Heiko M. Stutzinger, Managing Director, VNU Exhibition Asia Pacific Co., Ltd., as well as many other knowledgeable professionals, leading companies, experts and representatives from various relevant institutions and agencies.

The opening ceremony will be held at 09.00-11.30 hrs. on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019, at BITEC Bangkok. In the evening of the same day, an event called Networking Night will be held as a forum for exchange of attitude, connecting and building strong business network among public and private sectors, as well as over 100 participants from major associations and buyers both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Heiko M. Bio Investment Asia 2019 is one of the key highlights for this year focusing life sciences and biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, medical technology, digital health and healthcare.

Dr. Pathom Sawanpanyalert, Deputy Permanent Secretary Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation said that “Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL has been organized and developed for several years and become one of the biggest “Science & Technology” platforms for the country. I firmly believe has that Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL will become one of the key accelerators to move the country forward to becoming a valued-based and innovation-driven economy. Its strongly reflects these development plans by having its focus on the smart electronics, life sciences and biotechnology, medical hub and healthcare and food processing and food safety which are under the 10 target industries to enhance the competitiveness of the country’s current strengths through technology innovation and the new industry-led growth.”

Mr.Puripan Bunnag, Director of TCEB’s President Office Department, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) said that “Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL is the biggest international event on trade exhibitions and conferences for laboratory technology and innovation with regional recognition. Regarding to its consecutive growth, the event has covered biotechnology and medical platform synchronized with the country development. Pertaining to our contribution, TCEB has espoused Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL on international marketing through the campaigns such as CONNECT Business and EXHIBIZ IN MARKET in order to draw potential traders from all over the world to place their investments in Thailand.”

Dr. Sirasak Teparkum, Deputy CEO, Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (Public Organization) or TCELS said that “This year, we proudly present “Bio Investment Asia 2019” as one of our significant steps towards bio economy and bio-business in Thailand.
