SternLife debuts with brand new clinical nutrition concepts CPhI 2019, booth 90B12: innovative products for suppliers of medical nutrition

SternLife innovative products for suppliers of medical nutrition

SternLife, a renowned supplier of private label functional foods, will exhibit at CPhI Worldwide for the first time. The company will showcase a portfolio of six supplementary and seven nutritionally complete medical foods for the prevention of malnourishment. Ideal for nutritional therapies in hospitals, care homes and other medical facilities, the portfolio includes bars, powders and thickening agents. Aimed at helping companies establish or expand their private label clinical nutrition offerings, SternLife provides full service assistance – from the first concept and formulation development to production and advice on food legislation.

A good supply of nutrients is a key factor in the care of all patients. Often however they are unable to obtain everything they need from a regular diet. Targeted clinical nutrition based on well thought-out dietary treatment concepts is therefore required. With its innovative range of customised products, SternLife supports suppliers who are unable to develop these themselves.

During the trade fair, the company will present various patient-oriented products, such as bars, powders for shakes, high-calorie admixture powders, and thickening agents that increase the viscosity of foods for patients with swallowing difficulties. All of these products can help to prevent malnutrition. The new supplements complement the diet with specially selected macro- and micro-nutrients. For patients who are unable to eat in the normal way, SternLife also offers high-protein, fibre-rich nutritionally complete medical foods. In addition, its portfolio includes supplementary products for those with kidney problems.
